Sometimes the wind howls ..a deep gran that seems to creep into every little corner of our cottage ... telling a story of its journey ...listening on the wings of the wind ...what wonderous tales those would be....

Blippar meets Star Trek

time for a little brunch ... bacon butties or omelette ? ..hmmm

I learned yesterday via a new iphone app about an interesting, yummy looking omlette  recipe using Marmite.... yep the world saw me running around with an iphone scanning around for participating marmite products and scanning them into the blippar app to be then presented with a variety of " secret" recipes hidden in an " invisible " iphone screen when faced with the right Marmite logo ...giggle... I felt like the olden days of Star Trek and the tricorder magic ...

Using a newly patented technology that I don't understand but which fascinates me thinking of all the possibilities taking us into the next few year...

The Raindrops are falling :-)

There is something sooo soothing about the sounds of raindrops ...right on the roof ...pit ..pat ...pit pat... and then the torrential rain starts ...and all I want is to sit in front of a roaring fire ...or snuggled in bed listening to the sounds of nature....

Consumer Competitions Win or No Win

We had a discussion the other day on the fact that especially at this time off the year around christmas many consumer competitions pop up everwhere ... win a christmas hamper .. giveaway for a luxury holiday ... treat your friend to a day at a spa ... and we almost become blind to it all because instantly the feeling comes up ." no I never win anyway " ..

Ahh but there is the old saying " You got to be in it to win it " ... so I have taken on a challenge to prove/disprove whther it is indeed possible to beat the odds and win ...


Now for those who know me ... I rarely do things by half ..giggle , so the game is on ...
I shall try my hardest to discover whether it is all just a bit of laugh or whether indeed one can be IN IT to Win It ...
