Moments that Mattered - in 2013 LONDON
Really loved having the chance to visit London , such brilliant
architecture and everywhere there is such art to be found. Every hidden corner seems to have some sculptures or statues, architectural details from the Victorian Area.
My advice.. don't ever forget to look up, so many things are well out of normal eyesight.
and especially the tour of the city by night was wonderful. Here we caught just a perfect glimpse of the London Eye through all the buildings, it looks magical all lit up by the river thames.
More Moments that Mattered - in 2013
Braving the Eurotunnel , and a long long due family reunion . It is such a magnificent construction, digging a tunnel all these miles under the sea and sending trains through it that connect britain to the continent. Technology has come such a long way and to be able to use is makes such a differences to many families that have been disconnected in different parts of the world.
My daughter was able to meet her cousin for the first time and it made me happy to see that they got on very well ...
As a special long awaited treat she go to have a meercat encounter which left her talking about it for days. To be able to sit so close and observe them in their daily play was a special moment for us. I never forget the look on her face that seem to just one long smile.
